If you are buying from abroad, also establish who receives the equipment in the United States and who handles onward transport and support.
For internet, check the router and ONT first
Home internet may require power for both the router and the optical network terminal, or ONT, or a modem. A compatible mini UPS may meet a small need without buying a larger power station. Check voltage, current, connector and polarity for each device. A plug that fits does not establish electrical compatibility.
Your household battery cannot keep the internet provider's external network operating. Ask whether the connection remains available during outages in the recipient's neighborhood.
Separate power from energy
Watts (W) describe the power an appliance requires. Watt-hours (Wh) describe energy. For a constant load, multiply watts by hours.
This example uses hypothetical loads. It is not a device test or a runtime promise:
| Example load | Assumed power | Intended use | Useful energy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Router and ONT together | 20 W | 6 hours | 120 Wh |
| Fan | 40 W | 6 hours | 240 Wh |
| Lamp | 10 W | 6 hours | 60 Wh |
Together, the loads need 420 Wh of useful energy. Battery nameplate capacity must also allow for losses, the station's own consumption and a reserve. Replace these assumptions with measurements of the recipient's devices.
A refrigerator needs a separate check of energy over its operating cycles and compressor starting power. Do not turn its maximum label rating into a guaranteed runtime.
Plan for the next outage, too
Record how long power is off and how long it returns between interruptions. A station that covers one outage may fall short if it cannot replace the energy used before the next one.
Compare actual charging input, the available circuit and manufacturer conditions. A solar panel needs compatible voltage, current and connectors. Its rated output is not constant production throughout the day.
Review an exact model and configuration
For example, Anker lists the SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 at 1,024 Wh capacity and 2,000 W output. These are model specifications, not a test with your refrigerator or approval for every installation.
Check the current configuration and offer in the portable power collection. Plug-in appliances and backup for household circuits require different assessments.
Buying in the US for use in Venezuela
Compare total cost with a local purchase: equipment, transport, import charges and a possible return. BetterPowered delivery to a US freight forwarder is reviewed for the order. International transport and coverage outside the US require separate confirmation. The parties and applicable export requirements must also be checked.
Provide the device list, measured consumption, required hours and US delivery address so a specific option can be reviewed.
You can also pay with USDT
Choose your model and quantity in the portable power Store. Request an invoice by email from the product page or your cart. We confirm availability, delivery and the final total before sending it.
Estimate backup for your own equipment
Once you have your appliance list and intended hours of use, use our portable power calculator to prepare a selection. It is a planning guide; confirm consumption, startup demand, compatibility and manufacturer conditions before deciding.
